Welcome! We are pleased to offer two fast, easy, and free e-payment options for paying the annual special district state fee and / or late fee directly to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (Department):

  1. Visa or MasterCard.
  2. Automated Clearing House (ACH) Transfer, which allows a special district to transfer funds from its checking account to the Department

Get Started!

To pay the special district's state fee electronically, please have the following available:

  1. The Special District State Fee Invoice and Profile Update (Invoice and Profile Update document) sent to the special district's registered agent.
  2. The total amount due (located on the top right side of the Invoice and Profile Update document).
  3. A Visa or MasterCard or, if paying by an ACH transfer, the routing number and account number of the checking account being used to make the payment.

To submit the Invoice and Profile Update document:

  1. Review the information on the Invoice and Profile Update document and update it, if necessary, to ensure the Official List of Special Districts remains up to date (strike-through incorrect information and write in the new information directly on the Invoice and Profile Update document).
  2. Sign and date the Invoice and Profile Update document.
  3. Email the Invoice and Profile Update document to SpecialDistricts@DEO.MyFlorida.com or mail it to the address on the bottom of the Invoice and Profile Update document, even if no changes are necessary.

You may pay only one special district state fee at a time. The link below opens in a new browser window. After completing the transaction for one special district, close the browser window. If you have more than one fee to pay, you may start again from a new browser window. For more information about the required state fee, please review The Florida Special District Handbook Online - Collecting an Annual State Fee to Fund the Program.
