DEO Director Proctor Appoints Ken Reecy as Interim Director of the Florida Housing Finance Corporation

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Cissy Proctor, Executive Director of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, appointed Ken Reecy as the Interim Executive Director of the Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC). Reecy currently serves as the agency’s Multifamily Program Director. 

Director Proctor said, “Ken has extensive experience at the Florida Housing Finance Corporation and is committed to helping Florida families secure safe, affordable housing in communities all across our state. He has a strong understanding of the unique programs used to meet different needs for affordable housing in Florida and is a respected leader at the agency.”

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation works with local governments, nonprofits, elected officials and others to provide affordable housing opportunities for residents all across the state. The organization helps Floridians secure affordable rental housing and achieve homeownership through loans, credit, grants, counseling and special programs.
