Governor Scott: Ecolab Establishes Latin America Regional Headquarters, Creates 50 New Jobs in Miramar

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced that Ecolab Inc. has chosen to establish their new Latin America regional headquarters in Florida. The project will create 50 new jobs in Miramar and invest more than $800,000 in the local community.


Governor Scott said, “I am proud to announce that Ecolab has chosen Florida as the best place to establish their new Latin America regional headquarters. Not only is Florida the gateway to Latin America, but our work to cut taxes and grow jobs has also made our state the best place for global businesses like Ecolab to grow. We will continue to work to make it easier for businesses to invest and create jobs in Florida.”


Ecolab is a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services. The company’s 47,000 associates deliver comprehensive solutions and on-site service to promote safe food, maintain clean environments, optimize water and energy use, and improve operational efficiencies for customers at more than one million locations in more than 170 countries.
