TALLAHASSEE – The Department of Economic Opportunity sent a survey to local businesses to learn how the West Central Florida flooding has affected business operations.

Businesses in Dixie, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, and Taylor counties should go online to take the survey: West Central Florida Flooding Business Survey. Businesses should select West Central Florida Flooding 2015 from the dropdown menu, then complete the survey. The survey results will be shared among state and local agencies to expedite appropriate disaster relief programs for affected businesses.

On Aug. 6, Gov. Rick Scott declared a state of emergency for these five counties to support emergency response and recovery operations.
