Port Salerno

Port Salerno (Martin County) - Designated: 2001

Located along Florida's Central Atlantic Coast in a harbor known as Manatee Pocket in Martin County, Port Salerno is a waterfront community that is still home to businesses for boat haul out, storage and repair, as well as a string of commercial fishing docks. With community accomplishments such as establishment of the Port Salerno Commercial Dock Authority and obtaining funding to dredge Manatee Pass, the partnership is currently working to design and build an up-to-date dockside area for the Dock Authority's operations.
