ONE-STOP PROGRAM SUPPORT

WELFARE TRANSITON PARTICIPATION RATE REPORT

This report contains regional level participation data for the All Families Program and the Two Parent Program. The report contains data from the Monthly Management Report (MMR) and data from the Department of Children and Families (DCF) based on federal Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) guidelines.

The MMR data in this report is updated monthly, 20 days after the month ends. The federal criteria data is updated quarterly, 45 days after the end of the quarter.

There are two differences between the two sets of data:

1 - The MMR data is pulled on the first working day after the 14th of each month so there is less time to enter data;

2 - The Federal Report data includes additional hours based on employment found in DCF. This practice may be discontinued if is found that these hours do not meet the new documentation requirements.

As a result of these two factors, the Federal report generally has a higher performance rate than the MMR.

The report contains five different report tabs, providing different methods of viewing the data by selecting Program, Data Source, Region/Statewide and Time Period. There is also a definitions tab with information about the contents and features of each report.
