Welfare Transition (WT) Reports

Welfare Transition Participation Rate Report

This report contains regional level participation data for the All Families Program and the Two Parent Program. The report contains data from the Monthly Management Report (MMR) and data from DCF based on federal Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) guidelines. The MMR data in this report are updated monthly, 20 days after the month ends. The federal criteria data are updated quarterly, 45 days after the end of the quarter.

There are two differences between the two sets of data:

1. The MMR data are pulled on the first working day after the 14th of each month so there is less time to enter data;

2. The Federal Report data include additional hours based on employment found in DCF. This practice may be discontinued if is found that these hours do not meet the new documentation requirements.

As a result of these two factors, the Federal report generally has a higher performance rate than the MMR.

The report contains five different report tabs, providing different methods of viewing the data by selecting Program, Data Source, Region/Statewide and Time Period. There is also a definitions tab with information about the contents and features of each report.

An equal opportunity employer/program.  Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.
