Helpful Tips When Filing or Seeking Information About an Unemployment Claim in Florida

• File and Certify Online: For first-time claimants, those who are re-filing, or those who wish to certify their weeks for an active claim, it is recommended that you utilize our online systems whenever possible, at www.fluidnow.com.  You may file a claim anytime, and may certify Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., utilizing these services.  
  
  
• File and Certify by Phone:  For those who don’t have internet access and wish to file by phone, please note the system’s busiest days are Monday and Tuesday.  While you may call at any time during operating hours, we recommend calling Wednesday through Saturday to file or receive information about a claim.  Our toll-free number is 800-204-2418, and our operating hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 7:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  You may also self-certify by phone Monday through Saturday until 9 p.m., and Sunday until 6 p.m.  It is recommended you access this system after 5 p.m., in order to avoid high volume periods.
