On April 29, 2009, the Florida Legislature passed Senate Bill 810, authorizing the Agency for Workforce Innovation to begin paying Extended Unemployment Compensation Benefits (EB) to people who have exhausted all other state and federal unemployment benefits and meet eligibility requirements.
