TALLAHASSEE - Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Executive Director Jesse Panuccio announced Morgan L. McCord will serve as the agency’s Press Secretary.

“Morgan’s strong relationships with the media will help DEO share what Florida is doing to promote economic growth and employment opportunities to all of Florida’s hardworking residents,” Director Panuccio said. 

McCord was previously the Director of Communications at Florida TaxWatch, a statewide public policy research group, where she handled media relations and outreach. She has also worked for Sachs Media Group and the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council in similar roles. McCord is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Communications and Information.
