Florida Department of Economic Opportunity to Celebrate City of Port St. Joe and Competitive Florida Efforts

~The City of Port St. Joe is the first pilot community to celebrate their local accomplishments through the Competitive Florida Partnership~

PORT ST. JOE – On Monday, August 4, Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) Executive Director Jesse Panuccio and community leaders will celebrate the achievements and progress in economic development made by the City of Port St. Joe with the assistance of DEO’s Competitive Florida Partnership. The event will feature remarks from Director Panuccio, local officials, and a review of the progress and plans of the community.

 

Competitive Florida is targeted technical assistance that helps communities map their strengths and identify what makes them unique, then identify opportunities and improvements that fit within their character for greater economic and community development. Understanding the power of collaboration, this program builds an active network of passionate community leaders who share ideas, establish best practices, and learn from each other’s experiences.
