BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott highlighted recent job growth at Herc Rentals, a full-service equipment-rental firm headquartered in Bonita Springs. Since 2014 when they relocated from New Jersey to Bonita Springs, Herc Rentals has created over 300 jobs for families in Florida. The company currently employs more than 450 Floridians. On June 30, 2016, Herc Rentals announced the completion of its separation from the Hertz Rental Car business and its debut as an independent, publicly traded corporation.


Governor Scott said, “I am proud to celebrate Herc Rentals recent growth and the creation of nearly 300 new jobs over the past two years. More than 450 Floridians have found great jobs thanks to Herc Rentals decision to invest in our state. I look forward to their continued success in Florida.”
