Gov. Scott Highlights Job Growth at Fort Walton Machining

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. - Today, Governor Rick Scott highlighted job growth at Fort Walton Machining in Fort Walton Beach. Fort Walton Machining is creating 30 new jobs for local families, and has welcomed eight new employees since announcing their expansion in July. The company currently has more than 190 Florida employees.

 

Governor Scott said, “I am excited to visit Fort Walton Machining today to celebrate their recent job growth. We have made a lot of exciting jobs announcements this week because Florida is on the way to becoming the number one place for business. We will keep doing everything we can to help job creators like Fort Walton Machining succeed and create opportunities for our families.”

 

Fort Walton Machining was formed thirty years ago as a custom manufacturing operation to serve Eglin Air Force Base and its prime contractors. Since expanding into the commercial market, Fort Walton Machining has become an international manufacturing company with customers all over the world. Fort Walton Machining has two locations in Fort Walton Beach.
