In keeping with Section 445.033, Florida Statutes (F.S.), the FloridaCommerce and Department of Children and Families must measure the performance of workforce related programs and services for participants who receive benefits pursuant to family self-sufficiency programs under Chapter 414, F.S., and Welfare Transition Programs under Chapter 445, F.S. To meet this requirement, each Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB) must provide quarterly reports on the following measures:

  1. The percent of participants working in unsubsidized employment.
  2. The percent of participants who stop receiving benefits for reasons other than disqualification or sanction.
  3. The number of sanctions and waivers that are granted, measured by the type of sanction or waiver and the number of completed compliance activities that lead to a restoration of benefits.
  4. The median placement wage rate.
  5. The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families work participation rate, defined as the participation requirements specified under Public Law No. 109-171, the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005.
