The mission of the Workforce Estimating Conference is to identify high skill, high wage and high demand occupations and provide market-based job training to meet the needs of business economic development. The Workforce Estimating Conference develops the official state demand occupations list based on industry and occupational employment projections and wages prepared by the Labor Market Statistics office.
The Workforce Estimating Conference is authorized under ss. 445.011, Florida Statutes. The conference meets semi-annually and makes recommendations to the state demand occupations list approved by Workforce Florida, Inc.
