The Program unit provides early learning coalitions, state partners, families, providers and other interested stakeholders with information related to the Office of Early Learning’s programs. This unit is responsible for program guidance, policy services, and research analysis and data. The Program unit provides technical support and assistance with implementing the School Readiness, Voluntary Prekindergarten, and Child Care Resource and Referral programs. The Policy department develops and answers questions related to policy and rule. This department also reviews and approves early learning coalition plans. The Data department responds to data requests and provides guidance and technical assistance with implementing School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten as they relate to the use of the Enhanced Field System (EFS). The Research department conducts short and long-term analyses to provide program evaluation and to help disseminate knowledge about the field of early learning.
