Accountability Unit
The mission of the Accountability Unit is to promote School Readiness (SR) and Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program compliance and effectiveness. This unit conducts performance reviews and eligibility monitoring of local early learning coalitions and statewide contractors. The purpose of the reviews is to ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines, assess program outcomes, and identify opportunities to improve services for Florida’s families and children. Quality assurance, an internal component of the unit, analyzes and checks all reported facts for accuracy and relevancy.
