The Consumer Affairs Unit in the Office of Early Learning serves as a one-stop location for information about programs, services, resources, and daily operations of the office. Operating as the hub for communication, staff work to ensure that all internal and external stakeholders have up-to-date and accurate information. Staff are responsible for working closely with partners including the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Education, 31 local early learning coalitions and families across the state. Specific activities include coordinating Early Learning Advisory Council (ELAC) meetings, coordinating statewide training/presentation opportunities, assisting early learning coalitions with techinical assistance, and developing products for the office and the field.
