Welcome to the Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission's website. The Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission, also referred to as RAAC or the Commission, is the quasi-judicial administrative appellate body responsible for reviewing contested decisions of Florida Department of Commerce (FloridaCommerce) reemployment assistance appeals referees. The Commission is comprised of a Chairman and two Commissioners, each appointed by the Governor, and confirmed by the Senate, and is 100% federally funded. The Commission is housed within FloridaCommerce; however, it operates as an independent review body.

IMPORTANT: If you are a party to an appeal, you may not contact the Commissioners directly about your case. As a quasi-judicial review body, the Commissioners cannot engage in outside discussions with the parties regarding their cases. See Fla. Admin. Code R. 73B-21.007. If you have a question about the Commission appeal process, please review the FAQ link under the “INFORMATION” tab, below. For additional assistance regarding your Commission appeal, you can contact the Commission’s Clerk’s Office at 850-487-2685. The Commission is not responsible for the administration of the reemployment assistance program or disbursement of benefit payments. Any questions about these issues should be directed to FloridaCommerce at the RA Help Center or by telephone at 1-833-352-7759. Any attempt to contact a Commission member in this capacity will be rerouted.
